Day 1: Madurai - Rameswaram

Upon your arrival at Madurai Airport or railway station, our representative from South Tourism will warmly receive and assist you with your onward journey to Rameswaram.

On the way, make sure to stop and take in the stunning views from the Pamban Bridge, India’s very first sea bridge, which offers breathtaking sights of the Bay of Bengal.

Once you check into your hotel in Rameswaram, you’ll have the rest of the afternoon to unwind or explore at your own pace. In the evening, immerse yourself in spirituality with a visit to the famous Ramanathaswamy Temple, one of the twelve Jyotirlinga temples, known for its impressive corridors and beautiful Dravidian architecture.

Day 2: Rameswaram+

Admire the temple’s renowned corridors, adorned with 1,200 intricately carved pillars. Don’t miss the chance to take a holy dip at Agni Theertham, one of the 64 sacred water bodies in Rameswaram. Visit Ramar Patham, believed to bear the footprints of Lord Rama on a hilltop with panoramic views.

Explore the intriguing floating stones, believed to be part of the legendary bridge built by Lord Rama to reach Lanka. Later, pay homage at the Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Memorial, honouring the life and contributions of the beloved former President and scientist.

Day 3: Rameswaram - Madurai+

Continue your journey back to Madurai for your departure. A representative will assist you with the transfer to the airport or railway station based on your flight or train schedule.
