Itinerary

This 8-day Kerala package covers Cochin, Munnar, Thekkady, Alleppey, Kovalam, and Poovar, featuring waterfalls, tea gardens, wildlife, backwaters, beaches, and cultural landmarks for a complete Kerala experience.

Day 1: Cochin−

Upon your arrival at Cochin International Airport/Ernakulam Railway Station, you will be received by our representative who will assist you for a smooth check-in at the hotel. After refreshment, drive to Fort Cochin.

Visit Chinese Fishing Net – an icon of Cochin Tourism which is operational from the shore itself. Later visit St. Francis Church, said to be India’s oldest European church, Mattancherry Palace, Marine Drive, Santa Cruz Basilica & Fort Kochi Beach.

Later, have your dinner at your preferred hotel and head back to your hotel for a comfortable stay.

Day 2: Cochin – Munnar+

After the yummy breakfast at the hotel, drive to Munnar (04 Hrs). Get mesmerized at the beauty of Valara and Cheeyappara Waterfalls on the way while en route to Munnar.

Visit Karadiparra Viewpoint where you can enjoy breathtaking views of rolling mountains and lush tea plantations, and mind-blowing sunset. Later, check-in at the hotel for an overnight comfortable stay followed by a delicious dinner at your preferred hotel.

Day 3: Munnar+

Get ready for an exciting day exploring Munnar after breakfast. Situated at the confluence of three mountain streams – Kundale, Nallathanni & Mudrapuzha, Munnar is 1600 meters above sea level. This majestic hill station was once the summer resort of the British government in South India.

Go sightseeing at Tata Tea Museum (Closed on Monday), Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, Photo Point and in the afternoon proceed to Rajamalai (Eravikulam National Park closed during January to March due to breeding season) where the rarest species of mountain goat, "Nilgiri Thars", can be spotted.

Enjoy your day completely and drive back to the hotel with a delicious dinner at your preferred hotel and end the day happily with a good sleep at your pre-booked hotel.

Day 4: Munnar – Thekkady+

Post breakfast, start your day with a drive to Thekkady (04 Hrs). On arrival at Thekkady, check-in at the hotel. After relaxing for a while, you can spend the day exploring Thekkady.

Visit Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, spread across 777 sq km of which 360 sq km is thick evergreen forest. Activities like Boating at Periyar Lake, Kathakali, Kalari (Martial Art show), and Spice Plantation Tours can also be done on a direct payment basis.

After completing your sightseeing, end your day with a comfortable stay at your hotel followed by a delectable dinner at your preferred hotel in Thekkady.

Day 5: Thekkady – Alleppey+

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Alleppey (04 Hrs). Alleppey is best known for houseboat cruises through the rustic Kerala backwaters. On arrival at Alleppey, check in at the hotel and relax for a while.

Later, visit Ambalapuzha Sree Krishnaswamy Temple, Bay Island Driftwood Museum, Alleppey Lighthouse, Marari Beach, Alleppey Beach, etc. If time permits, you can go for a short shikara boat ride in the backwaters of Alleppey. Once you have enjoyed the day to the fullest, come back to your hotel after having your tasty dinner at Alleppey.

Note: In case you prefer a Houseboat Stay, check in to the houseboat and enjoy the rest of the day in the houseboat, indulging in the exceptional and soul-soothing beauty of God's Own Country. Satisfy yourself with the traditional Kerala lunch, evening tea with traditional Kerala snacks, and delicious dinner served onboard. If you wish, go shopping in the evening at nearby local markets (at your own expense) as well as explore the typical village life of Kerala. Later, enjoy a comfortable overnight stay at the houseboat.

Day 6: Alleppey – Kovalam+

Post breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive to Kovalam, a small coastal town in Kerala. On arrival at Kovalam, check-in at the hotel and relax for a while. In the evening, visit Vizhinjam Rock Cut Cave Temple, Marine Aquarium, Lighthouse, Samudra Beach, etc. After enjoying some peaceful and picturesque time in this beautiful beach city, come back to your hotel by eating some delicious Kerala cuisine from your preferred hotel for your dinner in Kovalam.

Day 7: Kovalam – Poovar – Kovalam+

Get ready for an exciting picnic to Poovar Island, which is 20 Km away from Kovalam. Surrounded by the Neyyar River, Poovar Island is famous for its mesmerizing natural beauty, where you can witness the rarest sight of sea, lake, and river meeting each other.

After sightseeing, come back to your pre-booked hotel for a peaceful night's sleep followed by delicious plates of fresh seafood or your preferred cuisines as your dinner at your preferred hotel in Kovalam.

Day 8: Kovalam – Trivandrum Drop+

Check out from the hotel after having a delicious breakfast and start your drive back to Trivandrum International Airport/Railway Station feeling contented about a wonderful holiday you spent in God's Own Country. If time permits, visit the world-famous Padmanabha Swamy Temple at Trivandrum. Tour ends with beautiful memories!
