What To See in Sanghol Museum?
Potteries, terracotta beads, figurines, bangles which were identified belonging to Harappan period. A single stucco head of Gandhara School , ancient coins dating back to Kushana period, pillars, coping stones from Kushana period are few of the collections here. Most highlighted in the list is motif of a lady squeezing water from her hair after bath, and a swan trying to swallow the droplets thinking as if they are pearls, a wonderful artwork receiving universal admirations. You can also witness ornaments used during the Mughal period which are on display.
Getting There:
Sanghol is a village at 40kms from the west of Chandigarh-Ludhiana Road. From Sihind Railway station, one can reach here traveling 16kms.

The museum functions between 10.00AM and 5.00PM on all days except Mondays and Public Holidays. No fee is charged to visit this museum.
